christmas 047

Yep, That’s right – you are looking at my Christmas present, of course you can’t see it properly ‘cos it’s still wrapped! The veils come off on Christmas Day!

You probably think I’m ‘tapped’ and you are probably right…. but..

My hands have problems, the tendons are inflamed, and although they have both been operated on it has become a chronic concern that causes horrible pain. Add that to the fact that both elbows are now playing up, fizzy fingers and pain, the last thing I can cope with is a kitchen tap that will not switch off!

I tried everything, new washers, hefty twisting of the tap – but that constant dripping was driving me nuts and it hurt to switch it on or try to switch it off!

My partner asked me what I would like for Christmas and, for the first time I knew exactly what I would like…..

‘A new tap in the kitchen, fitted and working – just one I can use’

Bless him, he took it to heart, went searching for one that I could use without hurting myself, bought it and, while I was away at my son’s last weekend, came over and fitted it.

I think it’s beautiful – I’ll let you know after Christmas… but I know it doesn’t make my hands hurt when I use it – it has switches so no more turning on and off!!

How good is that!!
