Well, maybe…….
I honestly believe that my outlook on life even at the tender age of 54 is down to spending quality time with my partner and my best friends. my partner is a little older than me albeit with a Peter Pan approach to lifeĀ and my best friends are my children (and their friends and partners). I might be from a different generation but they never make me feel that way!
But… and there has to be a but, I have dodgy knees sometimes and disco hip (if I overdo it) and that’s where the ibuprofen comes in handy. Doesn’t stop me though – I still love an empty dance floor.
Also I obviously have to look after my skin as it ages – it doesn’t know my mind is not moving at the same pace and that is where the skin creams come in.
Last November I asked my lovely daughter-in-law who works for a famous chemist if she could help me to stock up on my pollyfilla-type face creams. She got me most of the ones I wanted and I put them away in a drawer, determined to use up all the ones I already have……. and today, I have finished them………
yes, they have all gone – I have squeezed and scraped the last vestige from each tube or pot!
And tomorrow I start on the new lot…..
All fresh and waiting to be used!
Well there you have it…
The secret of my youth – aches and pains and all…. but no botox!!!
So obviously there is going to be a new you soon.

I don’t think that will happen – but my fingers might ache less without squeezing all those tubes – and as for the rest?… Well if they all do what they say on the tube – I might lose a few wrinkles! On the other hand – I might not ….
You are good! My skincare routine has gone to the dogs (forgive me!) while recovering from surgery. I can’t lift both hands to my face and it’s just such hard work trying to do it all one-handed! I must get back into it though, because my skin is looking very dry. It took me a very long time to find products I like, but finally I found that Clinique suits me very well.
Kate: Will you keep notes of what you think? I’m trying out a few new ones too (can’t find one that suits) – maybe we could do a joint post reviewing a few of them? Hmmm? hmmm??

EM – I have years of trying stuff out – it depends what you mean by ‘one that suits’ – I could review a few but they might rev a few people up.
I can recommend Boots serum though – that is good.
