Why do people make these things? And why don’t people buy them?
And why when people don’t buy them and they are on sale for £1-99 does my daughter find them?
Whatever the answers are I am more than surprised that Hippie goes along with all the dressing up – if you thought the Speedo’s were bad try suede bootees……
Bless her – this is one mad greyhound she plodded around the house wearing these and didn’t even try to take them off…. she even posed….
Very dainty Hippie – although looking at the weather I think you should have had wellies!!!
*gasp* I WANT SOME! Well, I mean Bert wants some, obviously. Seriously though, I wonder if they do waterproof ones? How cool would that be?! xx
I bet they do but I think we’ll stick with the ones to warm her tootsies after she’s been out in the wet – she walks really funny in them – picking her feet up high and placing them carefully. I think leg warmers would be better!
Ah ha ha ha!! Very on trend Hippie!
Hi Jennifer and welcome – we have a very trendy girl in Hippie – especially when she wears her pink T shirt with Spoilt Rotten printed on the front!!!
Do they have non-slip soles? That would be really useful for the greyhounds with an aversion to slippy floors!
Seriously, why do they make them? Lots of reasons!! Some dogs have corns which mean they do better walking in boots, some get sore feet from the salt they grit the roads with, sometimes they’ll have foot injuries and the boots stop them worrying at them.
Mind you, it looks as though those little suede booties are nothing but fashion items, doesn’t it? I’m sure The Princess would looooove them!
Much more better than the little purple ‘balloon’ dog sock I made her wear over her strapping for her bruised toe! Although purple is a royal colour, is it not?
And I bet she looked very regal too – these do have non slip soles – a bit like slipper socks. Hips would be better with skis I think – might stop her close encounters with cattlegrids!
